The festival includes a Cooking Contest, the Coronation of a Sea Goddess, jazz, comedy, oldies, celtic, reggae, folk, or a dash of the blues scattered throughout the festival grounds, 20,000 pounds of luscious lobster was prepared in our brand new cooker on the shore, a lobster crate race, the incredible art work of many local artists, encompassing oil paints, water colors, and photography, 200 runners competing in the 10K road race through the streets of Rockland and Rockport, and The Big Parade down Rockland’s Main Street, which draws more than 25,000 fans.

Nine tents, the world’s greatest lobster cooker, a sea goddess, a big parade, top notch entertainment, an international crate race, fine art, talented crafts people and vendors, US Navy ship tours, all you can eat pancakes, free shuttle service, US Coast Guard Station tours, professional and amateur cooking contests, marine heritage, road races, kids events, over 20,000 pounds of lobster, PLUS over 1,000 volunteers.
